Kussmaul Auto Current Options

The Kussmaul Electronics Auto Current family consists of compact, heavy-duty DC current-sensing modules designed for emergency vehicles, fire apparatus, and ambulances. Their primary function is to detect when electrical current is flowing through a specific circuit and close an internal relay to trigger a remote warning indicator.
- 12V Models (Standard)
- 24V Models
- High-Sensitivity variants (such as the -6 suffix models like 091-22-A-6): Standard Auto Current modules typically require a minimum baseline current of 1.0 to 4.0 Amps to trigger the sensor relay
- -G (Ground-Operating) Models with Ground-Based Triggering and Ground switch Integration change the output mechanism so that the internal relay connects the indicator circuit to electrical ground instead
