The Kussmaul Electronics Generator AC/DC System Monitor (VAAFH AC/DC Meter) is a  multifunction digital instrument simultaneously tracks and processes comprehensive AC and DC performance metrics from vehicle-mounted generator systems. The Kussmaul AC/DC Monitor expands on earlier standalone tracking setups by handling both line power (up to 36 kW systems) and DC auxiliary grids on a single high-visibility display screen. It provides real-time information for six critical system variables simultaneously:

• AC Voltage (120/240 VAC range)
• AC Amperage - Leg 1
• AC Amperage - Leg 2
• AC Line Frequency (Hz)
• DC Voltage
• DC Amperage
• Hour Meter: Automatically tracks and displays accumulated equipment run hours whenever the generator system is turned off.
• Comprehensive Alarms: Programmable High/Low limit settings for AC Voltage, AC Frequency, and DC Voltage, alongside independent High limit warning targets for both AC legs and the DC Amps load line.
• Alert Modes: Triggers an immediate flashing red backlight warning on the panel face, paired with an integrated 85 dB audible alert tone and an external control signal for auxiliary remote alarms or warning relays.
• Standard Hardware Included: The meter package comes complete with two external 150A Current Transformers (CTs) needed for multi-leg current scaling and step-down sensing.
• Construction & Efficiency: Outfitted with a password-protected configuration menu, a waterproof faceplate for harsh environments, a 4-level display brightness sweep, and a low-draw sleep mode (<20 mA) to conserve the vehicle's house batteries.
